ABOUT MIKE GIBSON

Mike was born and raised in in Mesquite, Texas and had a 17-year career with Sam’s Club there. Following that, Mike worked in restaurant management for ten years.

In 2012, Mike decided to begin a new chapter in his life and began researching to find his own business. During this time, Mike’s father-in-law was experiencing major health issues. Knowing nothing about the health care system, Mike and and his wife, Lori, sought out to get him the best care they could. Unfortunately, Mike found a lot of inconsistency in health care systems. This experience resonated with him, and he felt that there had to be a better way.

Mike’s research led him a franchise called Griswold Home Care, a non-medical home care company out of Philadelphia. Mike took a leap of faith and began learning as much as he could about this industry.  One issue that stood out was a lack of training and focus on the caregivers. Mike’s 30 plus years of management showed him to focus the caregivers, and make them proud of the company they work with, and in turn they deliver better care to our clients. We still focus on the continued development of our caregivers and strive to give them a place they are proud to work for.

We have also learned that non-medical home care is just a small part of the support our community needs. We have continued to listen to our community in order to deliver the services needed. Mike is rolling out some of the additional needs, such as: real estate concierge services, transportation, private duty nursing, social work services, and more to come.

Mike currently lives in Dallas with his wife, Lori, and son, Chandler.
